Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video

Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition trunk-mounted two-bike carrier, part number HRF6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place the carrier onto the vehicles trunk. We'll use the top set of black levers on the left and right hand side of the carrier to adjust the carrier to fit the trunk.Once weve establish this position, we'll clamp the black levers down. We'll then put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, just below the taillight, and the bottom straps at the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure our Hollywood Racks Expedition to our Dodge Dart. After securing the access lock, we're ready to load our bike.We'll now flip out the lower set of black levers to swing the cradle arms out. more

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video

Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mounted two bike carrier, part number HRB2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk. When you place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk, you will need to position the carrier so the cradle arms will be parallel to the ground or slightly angled up.Luckily, when we set our carrier onto the vehicle, the carrier was already adjusted. We'll now put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. Note there is no specific order in which the straps need to be attached to the vehicle.You may need to open up your trunk to get the side hooks into position. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure the Hollywood Racks Baja to our Dodge Dart. more

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we're going to be test fitting the Yakima QuickBack 2 Trunk Mounted Bike Rack, part number y02621. To begin our test fit we'll go ahead and place the carrier on top of our trunk. We'll put the top hooks at the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk.We'll tighten up all the straps and then we'll be ready to load our bike. Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Archway Two Bike Carrier with Adjustable Arms, part number th9009xt. To begin our test fit we need to look in the instructions and to Thule's Fit Guide where we see that our FitDial needs to be set to eight. Once we have that set we'll go ahead and place our carrier on top of our trunk. We need to make sure that the lower arm of our carrier is positioned on the upper tier of the bumper.Then we need to place the top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk. We'll place the lower clips in the bottom edge of the trunk and then we'll fit our side clips to the sides of the trunk. Once we have our clips in place and snugged down then we can go ahead and make our way around and secure each one until they're all tight. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting the Thule Passage two bike carrier part #: TH910XT. To begin our test fit well place the bike rack up against our cargo door and adjust it as necessary. The fit guide for this vehicle does say to set the fit dial to 11. With that done well go ahead and place the bike rack against the door and bring the two top straps up and hook them to the cargo door just behind the roof here on the roof line. Well then take the remaining four straps and hook one side of the strap to the side of the cargo door, here just above the taillight, and the other side to the cargo door just above the rear bumper fascia. Well then move around the bike rack, tightening up the straps, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. more

Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition, two-bike carrier trunk mount, part number hrf6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll go ahead and place the trunk mount bike rack against the cargo door. We'll then take the two top hooks, and hook them to the cargo door here at the roof line, just behind the roof. Now, with those two straps in place, we can then work around the other remaining four straps, and hook them to the cargo door. The two side straps will hook to the cargo door, just above the tail lights, and the two lower straps will hook to the cargo door just above the bumper fascia.Now, with all six straps in place, we can go ahead and work around tightening each of the straps evenly to make sure that out bike rack is secured and centered with the vehicle. Now, we've already gone ahead and made sure that we left enough room to swing out our dual arms. more

To begin our test fit well set the carrier onto the vehicle, well use the red knob on the center of the carrier to adjust the arms. Well then turn the red knob to tighten it down and secure the arms into position. Well then take the top straps of the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom of the trunk. You may need to open up your trunk to get the bottom hooks into position. Well then tighten down the straps and secure the carrier to the vehicle. more

Now to begin our test fit, well simply set the carrier onto the vehicle; well use the black levers on the left and right hand side of the carrier to adjust the carrier to fit the vehicle. The cradle arms do need to be level or slightly angled up. Once weve established this position, well lock back the levers in place; well then take the top strap to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. Today on our 2010 Chevy Cobalt, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Mounted Two Bike Carrier, part number HRF6-2.088.Now to begin our test fit, we'll set the carrier onto the vehicle. We'll use the top set of levers on the left and right hand side of the carrier to open up and adjust the arms to fit the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then lock them in position and use the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. You may need to open your trunk to get the bottom straps hooked in position.We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then adjust the arms of the carrier on the lower set of levers, we'll open up and swing the cradle arms out. The cradle arms do need to be level or slightly angled up.Once we establish this angle, we'll lock the arms into position, secure the access slack of the straps, and were ready to load our bike. more
